Old Downtown Bend, Oregon

Shoot Date: 5-14-2006

Wall Street, one of two main downtown thoroughfares.  The downtown is filled with small shops, art galleries and restaurants, many with outdoor tables for summer dining.

The Tower Theater, a Bend landmark and downtown's principal (and pretty much the only) venue for visiting musicians and artists.

One of Bend's many taverns housed in a typical brick building.  Bend takes pride in its numerous local beers.

Interesting facade on Wall Street.  I was especially attracted by the color and the curved balcony on the third floor.

Goody's, a Bend institution.  A real soda fountain, Goody's serves their own homemade ice cream as well as old fashioned fountain drinks and candies of all kinds.  The interior still has its original black-and-white checkered floor and wooden counter.
