‘Twas brillig, and the slithy oil

Did gyre and gimble in the cave:

All mimsy the Consortium

And the virus outgrabe.

"Beware the oilien, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the OPC review, and shun

The frumious Cancerman!"

He took his weak vaccine in hand:

Long time a stung-Scully he sought-

So rested he by the cryopod

And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,

The oilien, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the icy brood,

And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And "I had you"

The alien ship went snicker-snack!

It left them cold, and through the clouds

It went galumphing off.

"And hast thou slain the oilien?

Rest in my arms, my Spooky boy!

O frabjous day! The Truth! Out there!

He passed out in his joy.

‘Twas brillig, and the slithy oil

Did gyre and gimble in the sand:

All mimsy were the hybrid corn,

And the virus outgrabe.
